Tom Bradley International Terminal West

Tom Bradley International Terminal West

As sub-consultant to Fentress Architects on our first major airport project and the first major improvement to LAX in decades, Anderson Barker provided ongoing design support, including planning and programming, forensic and existing conditions surveys, 3D modeling, and architectural support, successfully delivering more than 56 Enabling Projects required to be implemented prior to construction of the main terminal project, including design of a temporary spaces and emergency exiting and converting existing dry standpipes to wet standpipes. Our team provided construction administration support, responding to Requests for Information and submittals, and providing ongoing phasing drawings. The design of the terminal reflects Los Angeles with its curved roof reflecting the waves of the nearby Pacific Ocean. An open space terminal with ceiling reaching more than 100 feet above the floor provides an amazing experience for international passengers while accommodating the new Group six aircraft such as A380 and 747-8.
